Fine Art Restoration
Capano Fine Art Restoration and Conservation opened its doors back in 1992 in Milano, Italy, where the owner, Lisa Capano, had been living and working for 15 years in the Art Restoration and Conservation field. In 2000, she came back to the United States and opened her laboratory in the Boulder, Colorado area, and has been working as a private paintings conservator to individuals, art galleries, art dealers, institutions, universities, and out-of-state clients. Capano Fine Art Restoration and Conservation specializes in restoring, but is not limited to, painted surfaces on wood, canvas, walls, gesso or plaster, and other painted objects.
Capano Fine Art Restoration and Conservation is a member of the AIC, the MRCG, and WAAC. Capano Fine Art Restoration and Conservation follows their code of ethics and bylaws for the restoration and conservation of all works of art.
